As the festive season approaches, we want to make sure our customers in Stoke‑on‑Trent and Staffordshire know exactly when we’re operating. We’ll be closing at midday on Christmas Eve so our team can enjoy the holidays with their families. Up until 12 pm on the 24 December, deliveries, collections and other services will operate as usual.

After a short break for Christmas Day and Boxing Day, we’ll be back on 28th, 29th and 30th December to carry out deliveries and exchanges of your skips. Please note that during this period we’re only able to drop off new skips or exchange full ones – there will be no collections. This arrangement helps us keep our schedule efficient and ensures that you can still dispose of festive waste without interruption. Our previous holiday schedule shows we usually perform collections and deliveries on certain days between Christmas and New Year; this year, those days are 28–30 December, so please plan ahead.

Full services, including collections, will resume on 2nd January, when we return to our usual opening hours. All services will be available again from this date, so if you’re holding onto a skip over the holiday period, you can arrange for it to be collected after the New Year. We recommend booking your collection slot in advance to avoid delays.

Christmas is a popular time for clear‑outs and home improvements. Whether you’re decluttering before guests arrive or renovating your kitchen over the break, skip hire is an easy way to manage waste. Choose from mini skips for small garden tasks, midi skips for kitchen or bathroom refits, builders skips for heavier waste, and large skips for bulky items. Our team can advise on the right size for your project and help with any permit requirements.

We anticipate high demand for skips over the festive period, so please book early to guarantee availability. You can use our online booking system to select your delivery and collection dates and pay securely by card, PayPal or Klarna. If your skip will be placed on the road, remember that a permit may be required; fees and notice periods vary by local authority, but we can handle the paperwork on your behalf. For your convenience, we also offer a range of winter fuels and aggregates to keep your home warm and projects moving.
